The following applications submitted by UMSL researchers were funded by the UM Research Board:

Sonya Bahar, Physics and Astronomy, awarded $24,000 for "Phase Transitions, Clustering and Optimal Mutability in an Evolutionary Model."

James Campbell, Logistics and Perations Management, awarded $14,076 for "Optimizing School Bus Routing in Missouri."

Joseph Carroll, English, awarded $10,000 for "What Fiction Is About: An Evolutionary Perspective."

Stephanie Merritt, Teresa Macan and Matthew Taylor, Psychology, awarded $13,500 for "Inquisit by Millisecond Software: Expanding our Capabilities."

Susan Waller, Art & Art History, awarded $10,000 for "Model Performances in the Third Republic."

Anne Winkler and William Rogers, Economics, awarded $18,684 for "On the Effect of the Foreclosure Crisis on Family's Living Arrangements."
