All students, faculty, and staff receiving a traffic violation must pay the fine or appeal it within 10 business days of issuance of the citation.
Student appeals are reviewed by an UMSL student committee which reviews each appeal on its individual merits. The committee then makes a recommendation that the appeal be accepted, denied or the fee be reduced to the Director of Parking and Transportation.
