September 22, 2026 - Report # 26-0287 – 7:30 a.m. Occurred on September 22, 2026, between 7:25 a.m. and 7:56 a.m. TRESPASSING/RESISTING ARREST/ASSAULT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER-BENTON HALL. A student who has been trespassed from UMSL and is not supposed to be on campus was again found in a classroom. When the UMSL Police Officer attempted to detain and arrest the person, they assaulted the officer and fled. The student was located and arrested. The student was processed for the charges and brought to the St. Louis County Jail to be held awaiting the review of the criminal charges. The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance was also notified for the student conduct violations. Disposition: Arrest made.
September 22, 2026 - Report # 26-0288 – 9:08 a.m. Occurred between August 1, 2026, and September 22, 2026. LOST UNIVERSITY PROPERTY-OFF CAMPUS. A staff member reported missing their UMSL laptop computer from their residence off campus. The person was advised to make a report with the police department where they reside. The UMSL Police Department notified Instructional Technology Support of the missing computer. Disposition: Inactive.
September 22, 2026 - Report # 26-0289 – 12:09 p.m. Occurred on September 22, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. INFORMATIONAL REPORT/DAMAGE TO VEHICLE-WEST DRIVE. A staff member reported finding a broken side window on their parked vehicle. The UMSL Police Department determined that no crime occurred, and that the lawn service company was mowing in the area and likely caused a rock to be thrown into the window causing the damage. Disposition: Inactive.
