September 2, 2026 – Report # 26-0251 – 2:24 a.m. Occurred on September 2, 2026, between 2:24 a.m. and 2:39 a.m. FIRE ALARM-JC PENNEY BUILDING. The alarm company called to report a fire alarm was sounding in the building. The UMSL Police along with the fire department responded, and after checking the entire building determined that there was no fire and the alarm was the result of a trouble alarm. Due to the time of day, there was no evacuation and no injuries were reported. Disposition: Inactive.
September 2, 2026 – Report # 26-0252 – 3:30 p.m. Occurred on September 2, 2026, between 3:25 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. SICK CASE-MILLENNIUM STUDENT CENTER. A staff member called to report a student having a seizure. The UMSL Police along with an ambulance responded, and the student was evaluated and transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. Disposition: Inactive.
September 2, 2026 – Report # 26-0253 – 5:36 p.m. Occurred on September 2, 2026, between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. AUTO ACCIDENT-WEST DRIVE. A contracted worker reported that their vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked, causing very minor damage. The owner did not want a report made, only wanted the police department to be aware in case someone comes forward. Disposition: Inactive.
