July 27, 2026 – Report # 26-0220 – 10:38 a.m. Occurred on July 27, 2026, between 10:36 a.m. and 10:58 a.m. FIRE ALARM SOUNDING-SCIENCE LEARNING BUILDING. The fire alarm had sounded in the entire Research Complex, and evacuation had occurred. The UMSL Police, maintenance, along with the Fire Department were dispatched. The maintenance department determined that this was caused by the contractors accidentally activating the fire alarm while doing ongoing construction in Stadler Hall. There was no fire, injuries or any damage. The occupants were allowed to return inside the building. Disposition: Inactive.
