July 8, 2026 – Report # 26-0208 – 2:26 a.m. Occurred on July 8, 2026, at 2:00 a.m. AUTO ACCIDENT-MARK TWAIN DRIVE. A UMSL Police vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. There were no injuries in the accident; however, the vehicle suffered significant damage and had to be towed. Disposition: Inactive.
July 8, 2026 – Report # 26-0209 - 3:27 p.m. Occurred on July 8, 2026, between 3:27 p.m. and 3:54 p.m. CHECK THE WELFARE-UNIVERSITY MEADOWS APARTMENTS. An employer of a UMSL student called the University Meadows staff to check the welfare of them in residential housing. The RA asked the UMSL Police to respond to do this check. The UMSL Police responded and contacted the student in their apartment, and everything was ok. The student was having technical problems with their phone. Disposition: Inactive.
