May 30, 2026 - Report # 26-0177 – 7:51 a.m. Occurred on May 30, 2026, between 7:45 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. AUTO ACCIDENT-PARKING LOT K. During the Hazelwood High School graduation, one vehicle backed into another while trying to park. There was damage to both vehicles; however, no injuries were reported. Disposition: Inactive.
May 30, 2026 - Report # 26-0178 – 11:22 a.m. Occurred May 30, 2026, between 11:15 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. INFORMATIONAL REPORT-UNIVERSITY MEADOWS APARTMENTS. A staff member called to report that they thought a student had taken an inappropriate picture of them with their cell phone while doing their laundry. The UMSL Police contacted the student, and could not determine whether any photos were taken, or whether a crime was committed. This matter will be referred to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance, and the Title IV Office. Disposition: Inactive
May 30, 2026 - Report # 26-0179 – 2:30 p.m. Occurred on May 30, 2026, between 2:20 p.m. and 2:25 p.m. ASSAULT-MARK TWAIN ATHLETIC AND FITNESS CENTER. During the Hazelwood High School graduation, a St. Louis County Police Officer was assaulted by a patron who attempted to enter the event without a valid ticket. The UMSL Police responded, and the person was arrested for assault. The officer suffered no visible injuries. The person was transported to the police stations where they were processed for the assault and then released pending the application of a warrant. Disposition: Active.
May 30, 2026 - Report # 26-0180 – 1:58 p.m. Occurred on May 30, 2026, between 1:50 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. SICK CASE-MARK TWAIN GYMNASIUM. During the Hazelwood High School graduation, a patron started to feel dizzy and fainted. The UMSL Police, along with an ambulance, responded and the person was evaluated by the paramedics on the scene. The person did not have any injuries and refused to go to the hospital. Disposition: Inactive.
