May 29, 2026 - Report # 26-0173 – 6:19 a.m. Occurred on May 29, 2026, between 6:00 a.m. and 7:24 a.m. TRESPASSING-LUCAS HALL- The UMSL Police were called about a possible homeless person in the building. While checking the building a UMSL Police Officer located the person who is not affiliated with the campus but is very familiar to the UMSL Police. This person was arrested again for Trespassing, and after being processed at the police station, they were taken to St. Louis County Jail where charges were issued for trespass. Disposition: Inactive.
May 29, 2026 - Report # 26-0174 – 8:52 a.m. Occurred on May 29, 2026, between 7:14 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. INFORMATIONAL REPORT/TELEPHONE HARASSMENT-RECREATION AND WELLNESS CENTER. A former student who is a patron at the Rec Center left two vulgar and disturbing voicemails on a staff member’s office phone. The staff was in the process of having this person’s membership cancelled and banned from the building. This report was sent to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance, and a permanent trespass order for the entire campus was issued. Disposition: Inactive.
May 29, 2026 - Report # 26-0175 – 10:00 a.m. Occurred sometime between May 22, 2026, and May 28, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. LARCENY-LUCAS HALL. A staff member reported that a small trampoline was stolen from the hallway sometime during the last week. There are no suspects in this incident. Investigation later determined that the trampoline was being used outside of that area and was returned to where it belonged. Disposition: Inactive.
May 29, 2026 - Report # 26-0176 – 2:39 p.m. Occurred on May 29, 2026, between 2:39 p.m. and 3:11 p.m. CHECK THE WELFARE-UNIVERSITY MEADOWS APARTMENTS. A student’s parents called to ask to check on the student’s welfare. The student was involved in a car accident off campus the day before and was not answering their phone. The UMSL Police responded and contacted the student and determined their welfare was fine; however, their phone had a dead battery. Disposition: Inactive.
