May 19, 2026 – Report # 26-0166 – 8:37 a.m. Occurred on May 19, 2026, between 8:35 a.m. and 10:31 a.m. SUSPICIOUS PERSON/FOUND PROPERTY-LUCAS HALL. The UMSL Police were called about a possible homeless person in the building. While foot patrolling in the building a UMSL Police Officer located a pair of shoes that belonged to a non-affiliated homeless person the police were familiar with and had recently been arrested for trespassing. The person was not located, however, the shoes were seized and brought to the police station to await the owner. Disposition: Inactive.
May 19, 2026 – Report # 26-0167 – 2:40 p.m. Occurred on March 19, 2026, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. FOUND PROPERTY-LUCAS HALL. A student worker located a window surface keyboard/screen combo while doing inventory which does not belong to the university. The item was brought to the UMSL Police Department. The item is being held pending the identity of the owner. Disposition: Inactive.
