May 13, 2026 – Report # 26-0155 – 10:01 a.m. Occurred on May 13, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 10:01 a.m. INFORMATIONAL REPORT/OFF CAMPUS INCIDENT-NANO SCIENCE BUILDING. A student reported to their professor that they were slapped by another student in an incident which occurred off campus. The UMSL Police investigation revealed that no criminal incident occurred on campus. The student did not wish to prosecute and only wanted the incident documented. The student was advised to contact the proper police jurisdiction if they wanted to make a criminal report. Disposition: Inactive.

May 13, 2026 – Report # 26-0156 – 10:15 a.m. Occurred on May 13, 2026, between 10:15 a.m. and 11:19 a.m. WARRANT ARREST/TRESPASSING-SOCIAL SCIENCE BUILDING. The contracted construction workers called to advise of a person in a room who appears homeless and is smoking marijuana. The UMSL Police responded and contacted the person who is not a current student. This person had a warrant out for their arrest from another police agency out of state and was arrested. After being processed at the police station, they were given a temporary no trespass notice and then taken to St. Louis County Jail to be held pending the extradition. This matter will also be referred to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance for their review. Disposition: Inactive.

May 13, 2026 – Report # 26-0157 – 12:03 p.m. Occurred on May 13, 2026, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. KEEP THE PEACE-MILLENNIUM STUDENT CENTER DOCK. A contracted maintenance worker called to ask for assistance with an employee who was arguing with the manager. The UMSL Police responded, and the person was leaving the area, and peace was restored. This was an employment issue, and no crime occurred. Disposition: Inactive.
