April 23, 2026 – Report # 26-0129 – 1:21 a.m. Occurred on April 23, 2026, between 1:15 a.m. and 2:06 a.m. ANIMAL COMPLAINT-UNIVERISTY MEADOWS APARTMENTS. A student reported that an opossum was sitting on the landing of a staircase, and they were afraid to walk past it. The UMSL Police responded and were able to safely coax the opossum to leave the stairs and run into the woods. Disposition: Inactive.
