March 12, 2026 – Report # 26-083 – 9:23 a.m. Occurred between March 11, 2026, at 10:30 p.m. and March 12, 2026, at 6:30 a.m. LARCENY FROM A VEHICLE-UNIVERSITY MEADOWS APARTMENTS. A student reported that someone took $5.00 in cash from their unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot. Two more students reported a similar thing happened to their unlocked vehicles while parked overnight. Disposition: Active.
March 12, 2026 – Report # 26-084 – 11:45 a.m. Occurred on March 12, 2026, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:18 p.m. CLASSROOM DISTURBANCE-SCIENCE LEARNING BUILDING. A student called the UMSL Police when he got upset about an assignment in the class. This was a non-criminal incident, and the report will be referred to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance. Disposition: Inactive.
March 12, 2026 – Report # 26-085 – 12:51 p.m. Occurred on March 12, 2026, between 12:51 p.m. and 1:29 p.m. MISCELLANEOUS HAZARD/SMELL OF NATURAL GAS-WOODS HALL. The UMSL Police along with the maintenance department responded to a call for the smell of gas. The leak was determined to be outside of the building, and the gas company was called to make the repairs. Disposition: Closed.
March 12, 2026 – Report # 26-086 – 3:50 p.m. Occurred on March 12, 2026, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. AUTO ACCIDENT/LEAVING THE SCENE-PARKING LOT E. A UMSL student reported that their parked vehicle was struck by another vehicle which left the scene. causing minor damage. Disposition: Inactive.
March 12, 2026 – Report # 26-087 – 8:57 p.m. Occurred on March 12, 2026, between 8:57 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. SICK CASE-OAK HALL. A friend called for their relative, who was having a seizure and needed an ambulance. The UMSL Police along with the ambulance responded, and the person was transported via ambulance to the hospital for treatment. Disposition: Inactive.
