March 11, 2026 – Report # 26-079 – 12:57 p.m. Occurred on March 11, 2026, between 12:57 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. FIRE ALARM-MARK TWAIN BUILDING. A fire alarm was called in by an off-campus staff member. The UMSL Police along with the maintenance worker responded and determined that there was no fire and that the system showed a false alarm. Disposition: Inactive.
March 11, 2026 – Report # 26-080 – 1:42 p.m. Occurred on March 11, 2026, between 1:42 p.m. and 1:48 p.m. INFORMATIONAL REPORT-CAMPUS POLICE BUILDING. A student brought a copy of their Ex-Parte Order of Protection to the UMSL Police. The other party is not affiliated with the university. Disposition: Inactive.
March 11, 2026 – Report # 26-081 – 2:44 p.m. Occurred between March 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. and March 11, 2026, at 2:45 p.m. LOST ARTICLE-BENTON HALL. A student reported sometime in the last week they lost their phone in Benton Hall. Disposition: Inactive.
March 11, 2026 – Report # 26-082 – 7:00 p.m. Occurred on March 11, 2026, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. FOUND PROPERTY-FINE ARTS BUILDING. A staff member reported a shotgun shell left in a student cubicle. It is believed to be part of their property for an art project, but they were concerned that it should not be allowed on campus. The UMSL Police responded and seized the item as found property and brought it to the UMSL Police Department where it is being held for safekeeping. Disposition: Inactive.
