February 27, 2026 – Report # 26-059 – 11:16 a.m. Occurred on February 27, 2026, between 11:16 a.m. and 11:46 a.m. FIRE ALARM-RESEARCH BUILDING. The fire alarm was set off in the Research complex. The UMSL Police along with the fire department and university maintenance personnel, responded to the scene. Evacuation was already in progress, and there were no signs of a fire or smoke. It was later determined that the alarm was set off accidentally by contractors/construction working on the alarm system. All occupants were allowed back into the building. Disposition: Inactive.
February 27, 2026 – Report # 26-060 – 11:08 a.m. Occurred on February 27, 2026, between 11:08 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. TRESPASSING-MILLENNIUM STUDENT CENTER. A non-affiliated homeless person was in the building with no educational purpose. The UMSL Police contacted this person, and they were escorted off campus and given a temporary no-trespass notice. Disposition: Inactive.
February 27, 2026 – Report # 26-061 – 11:27 a.m. Occurred on February 27, 2026, between 11:27 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. CIT CASE-MILLENNIUM STUDENT CENTER. A student requested to be transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation. The UMSL Police, along with an ambulance responded and the person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Disposition: Inactive.
