February 7, 2026 – Report # 26-033 – 2:09 p.m. Occurred on February 7, 2026, between 2:00 p.m. and 2:09 p.m. ASSAULT-UNIVERSITY MEADOWS APARTMENTS. Two UMSL students got into an altercation over living conditions in the apartment. One of the students was hit on the head with an object causing a laceration to their forehead. The UMSL Police along with an ambulance responded and the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. The other student was arrested for assault and after being processed was also sent to the hospital for an evaluation. Warrants will be applied for through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office. This matter will also be referred to Student Conduct. Disposition: Cleared by arrest.
