February 4, 2026 – Report # 26-026 – 8:26 a.m. Occurred between September 7, 2025, and January 30, 2026. INFORMATIONAL REPORT-MARK TWAIN BUILDING. A staff member reported receiving letters sent through the US Mail from a former student. The letters were strange but not threatening or criminal in nature. Disposition: Inactive.
February 4, 2026 – Report # 26-027 – 1:57 p.m. Occurred on February 4, 2026, between 8:20 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. PROPERTY DAMAGE/ATTEMPTED STOLEN AUTOS-WEST DRIVE GARAGE. Two students reported damage to their cars. The UMSL Police Department investigated and determined that one car had a broken window and both cars had damage to the steering columns as an attempt to steal them. Neither vehicle was stolen, and the suspects are unknown at this time. Disposition: Active.
