January 20, 2026 – Report # 26-012 – 9:23 a.m. Occurred on January 20, 2026, between 9:23 a.m. and 10:16 a.m. PEACE DISTURBANCE/ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE-WEST DRIVE GARAGE. The UMSL Police were called to the West Drive Garage for a disturbance between two drivers. Both drivers were identified (one was an UMSL student, and the other was a parent of an UMSL student). During the disturbance the parent stated to the student that they had a gun. The UMSL Police determined that the parent did have a gun in the vehicle, however never displayed it. Neither party wanted to prosecute, and peace was restored. This matter will be sent to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review. Disposition: Active
January 20, 2026 – Report # 26-013 – 10:41 a.m. Occurred between January 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. and January 20, 2026, at 11:07 a.m. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY-CREATIVE ARTS BUILDING. A glass door to a fire alarm panel was discovered broken. The damage appeared to be caused by a defect, and not a criminal incident. Disposition: Inactive.
