December 18, 2025 - Report # 25-0340 – 9:35 a.m. Occurred on December 17, 2025, between 12:00 Noon and 3:00 p.m. STEALING/FRAUDULENT USE OF CREDIT CARDS-CREATIVE ARTS BUILDING. A UMSL student reported cash and credit cards stolen from their backpack. The credit cards were later used off campus before the victim could cancel them. Disposition: Active
December 18, 2025 - Report # 25-0341 – 2:00 p.m. Occurred on December 18, 2025, between 2:00 p.m. and 2:23 p.m. FIRE ALARM-BENTON HALL. A fire alarm was sounding in Benton Hall, and the building was evacuated. The UMSL Police along with the maintenance staff responded. There was no fire, and the cause of the alarm was due to construction in the area. The maintenance crew were going to work on correcting the issue. All the people were allowed back into the building. Disposition: Inactive.
December 18, 2025 - Report # 25-0342 – 4:06 p.m. Occurred on December 18, 2025, between 4:06 p.m. and 4:12 p.m. FOUND PROPERTY-PARKING LOT NEAR PROVINCIAL HOUSE. A staff member turned in a credit/debit card that they found in the parking lot. The owner was identified as an UMSL student and was made aware that their card was found and they could retrieve the card from the police department. Disposition: Inactive.
