December 10, 2025 – Report # 25-0334 – 12:27 p.m. Occurred on December 10, 2025, between 12:27 p.m. and 1:23 p.m. CHECK THE WELFARE-UNIVERSITY MEADOWS APARTMENT. The mother of a UMSL student called the UMSL Police and asked them to check on their welfare, because they had not heard from them since the day before. The student who resides in University Meadows was contacted by the UMSL Police and advised that their phone had a dead battery and it was turned off and everything is fine. The student stated they would contact their mother. Disposition: Inactive.
December 10, 2025 - Report # 25-0335 – 7:20 p.m. Occurred on December 10, 2025, between 7:20 p.m. and 7:54 p.m. FIRE ALARM-BENTON HALL. The alarm company called to report a fire alarm sounding in Benton Hall. The UMSL Police along with the maintenance staff and the fire department responded. The building was evacuated. The fire department determined that there was no fire, and the cause of the alarm was due to dirty ventilation. The maintenance crew were going to work on correcting the issue. All people were allowed back into the building. Disposition: Inactive.
