September 8, 2025 – Report # 25-0225 – 11:05 a.m. Occurred on September 2, 2025. A letter was received through US Mail by a UMSL staff member from a non-affiliated person. No crime was committed and the letter was not threatening. This person was rambling about personal issues unrelated to the University. The UMSL Police contacted a family member of the person who sent the letter and determined that they suffer from mental health issues, and they were advised to stop sending letters. Disposition: Inactive.
