July 22, 2025 – Report # 25-0186 – 3:30 a.m. Occurred on July 22, 2025, between 3:30 a.m. and 4:26 a.m. MISSING PERSON-UMSL CAMPUS. A parent of a UMSL student reported them missing. The parent advised that they were last known to be on the UMSL campus the day before for a meeting. The UMSL Police investigated this matter, found the students vehicle on the parking lot near the Metro-Link and determined that the student was in New York City and was fine. The Missing person was canceled. Disposition: Closed.
July 22, 2025 – Report # 25-0187 – 7:57 a.m. Occurred on July 22, 2025, between 7:55 a.m. and 8:08 a.m. 911/ELEVATOR HANGUP-WOODS HALL. A staff member reported that they were stuck in the elevator. The UMSL Police along with the maintenance department responded and were able to free the trapped person. There were no injuries and the maintenance department was going to facilitate getting the elevator repaired. Disposition: Inactive.
July 22, 2025 – Report # 25-0188 – 9:52 a.m. Occurred on July 22, 2025, between 9:52 a.m. and 10:57 a.m. CHECK THE WELFARE-UNIVERSITY MEADOWS APARTMENTS. The UMSL Police Dispatcher received a call from the manager at the University Meadows that a third party called them to advise that a resident may have a sore throat. The UMSL Police along with the manager responded to check on the resident and they were fine, and did not need any medical attention. Disposition: Inactive.
