If you are an undergraduate student experiencing a challenge with your course material (ex. homework, essays, notes, course concepts, studying), then NetTutor may be a great option for you. NetTutor is an online tutoring platform that is free to use for UMSL students! They provide 24/7 tutoring for some subjects, so please check it out!

Here’s how it works:

  • Log into Canvas with your UMSL SSO and password.
  • Click on the course on your homepage labeled Canvas Online Course Overview.
  • Find the link that says NetTutor in the navigation sidebar on the left*
  • Click the title with the subject area of your choice.
  • Follow the online directions.

If you prefer in-person tutoring options, check out our Walk-In Tutoring as well as UMSL’s additional tutoring resources.

*The NetTutor option is only visible when your instructor allows it to be visible. If it is not on the side of your Canvas page, then please reach out to our department and we will add you to our Canvas page to gain access to NetTutor!
