Current Student Registration
To begin, visit the Handshake login page and click on the “UMSL Students: CLICK HERE” button and enter your microsoft 365 credentials. A partial profile has already been created for you! Review and complete any remaining fields on your profile and upload a résumé to the site. Once completed, you may begin applying for jobs.
Recent Alumni (One Year Out)
To begin, claim your Handshake account by visiting the Handshake login page. To authenticate your alumni status, please be aware that you must use your Microsoft 365 credentials. Click on the “UMSL Students: CLICK HERE” button and enter your Microsoft 365 credentials.
To begin, create a Handshake account by registering here. Enter your mail.umsl.edu email address and complete the steps to connect to UMSL Career Services. A staff member will contact you by email within 3-5 business days to verify your alumni status. You will be asked to provide your full name, Student ID, graduation date and hometown. If you cannot recall your 8-digit Student ID, please call the Office of the University Registrar for assistance at 314-516-5545.
