Endowed Professors

The endowed professors in the Des Lee Collaborative Vision are not your typical higher education professors. By the very nature of our mission, they are required to go above and beyond in their endeavors. We require them to work approximately half of their time in and with the community in which we serve, in addition to their teaching, research and scholarly obligations to the University. Each professorship is designed and partnered with one, or more, of our many stellar community agencies in the St. Louis region focusing on the educational needs of our underserved populations via creative processes, enhanced collaborations, best practices and a mindset that everyone deserves a challenging and fresh approach to obtaining a quality education.
