Des Lee Scholars Program

In addition to sponsoring numerous endowed professorships, Mr. Lee set up a scholarship program in 1997 for UMSL students seeking a degree and studying within a professorship and/or discipline in the Des Lee Collaborative Vision. A DLCV endowed professor designates the student and the Office of Student Financial Aid determines eligibility. Every year we hold a special Des Lee Scholars Luncheon with Mr. Lee so he may hear the student’s stories of impact, share an appreciation of education and enjoy congratulatory moment with a donor that has opening numerous doors for so many individuals.
