Krisdakorn Klinkesorn My sub-field is public policy.

Maks Kobonbaev The focus of my study mainly concentrates on international development, trade, foreign policy, the countries of the former Soviet republics of Central Asia and the Caspian. I am currently working on two projects in the field of international development and the Caspian energy resources. The second one goes along with my dissertation study which I broadly and approximately have titled as: "Oil and Gas Cooperation in the Caspian: Prospects for Subregional Integration and Security." My second project, "Does Free-Trade Improve Poverty around the Globe?" is a quantitative study exploring the effect of free-trade and liberalization of domestic economies on poverty reduction around the globe.

Bertin Kouadio I am interested in a variety of issues pertaining to politics & development of Africa, international relations of Africa and the UN systems .

Matt McLauglin My primary area is public policy in American political institutions. I am specifically interested in campaign finance on the national level as well as the state of Missouri.

Janina Mera My area of interest is International relations with an emphasis on Third World Development, especially in Latin America.

Larry Morton My areas of interests are criminal policies and social policies that effect and affect central city minorities living in poverty. More specifically, I would like to learn what policies they feel have failed them and what policies could improve their lives. I am also interested in racial disparities in criminal policies and in the juvenile justice system.

Andrea Pyatt My area of interest is international relations. In particular, I study conflict resolution and the role that international organizations play. While I have not begun my dissertation or finalized my topic, I plan to examine the role that regional organizations play in conflict resolution. My hypothesis is that these types of organizations are the most effective but relatively under used. I want to explore how they can potentially become stronger and the role they will play in the future.

Carroll Thomas My interest is in comparative politics, health policy reform, and the interaction between development and democratization, especially the impact of NAFTA, GATT and economic globalization more generally.
