Instructor: Richard I. Goldbaum, Transitions in Leadership LLC
Location: JC Penney Conference Center, UM-St. Louis
The most important asset of any organization is its employees. But how does an organization identify and develop staff members with leadership potential? Creating an organizational culture that emphasizes leadership enhancement throughout all levels of the organization will be the focus of this workshop, which will provide:
- Strategies for assessing staff members’ leadership styles and skill sets in relationship to their present positions
- Tactics for creating individual plans that will improve a staff member’s ability to be a leader rather than just a manager
- Recommendations for identifying and preparing future leaders within the organization
- Methodologies for developing the bench strength during times of limited resources
In addition, this workshop will review how to effectively prepare the organization, at all levels, for the inevitability of leadership change and provide guidance on how to be ready for planned or sudden loss of leaders at all levels within the organization.
