DAN SISE, JD, joined the Nonprofit Management and Leadership Program (NPML Program) at U.M. – St. Louis in October, 2008, and serves as the Program’s Academic Coordinator and Community Engagement Manager. Dan’s academic duties include student advising, coordination of adjunct faculty, and other matters related to the ongoing maintenance of the NPML academic certificate. Dan also teaches the Program’s class on legal issues for nonprofit organizations. As Community Engagement Manager, Dan works out in the community to develop even closer ties to the local nonprofit sector. One of the primary ways this occurs is in Dan’s coordination and oversight of the NPML non-credit continuing education program.

A 1997 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, Dan is currently licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.  He serves on the board of directors of a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Daughters of Charity Foundation of St. Louis, The St. Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste Management District, and Mission: St. Louis. Prior to joining the faculty of the NPML program, Dan worked at Habitat for Humanity in St. Louis where he was director of operations.
