Complete prerequisites for upper level courses
Explore minors and certificates that would complement your goals
Network with faculty in your major area to learn about opportunities, like research, that are specific to your department
For Your Career
Continue working through the Career Development Checklist
Update your information in Handshake
Create a resume and upload it into Handshake
Attend Career Fairs
Explore Graduate School or Professional degrees, such as Law, Medicine, or Optometry, so your academic plan can include prerequisites for these programs
For Undeclared Majors
Complete FOCUS and other career assessment programs
When you are ready, declare your major
For International Students
If you change your major or program, contact ISS to update your I-20
Report any change of address within 10 days (through MyView)
Consult an international student advisor before accepting an internship or job off-campus
Maintain full time enrollment unless you have received prior approval from ISS
Consider serving as a leader at International Student Orientation or at the International House
