Emily Marler, Ph.D.
Dr. Emily Marler earned her B.A. in Psychology at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and her Master’s degree and Ph.D. at Saint Louis University in Experimental Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience.
As a graduate student at Saint Louis University, Emily taught Cognitive Psychology and Advanced Research Methods and Statistics lab for two semesters. Upon graduation, Emily received a teaching position at McKendree University for a year, teaching Psychological Statistics, Research Methods, and Introduction to Psychology. She has also taught online courses at the undergraduate level.
She teaches undergraduate courses full time at UMS and is a Psi Chi Faculty Mentor. She also assists in operating the SONA human subject pool for the psychological sciences department.
