Dual Enrollment Scholarships

The Dual Enrollment Program has a limited amount of scholarship funding for dual enrolled students through two separate programs.* These scholarships are first come first serve

Dual Enrollment Scholarships - These scholarships are available on a limited basis to any dual enrolled student. The Dual Enrollment Scholarship will cover 50 percent of one dual enrollment course. This scholarship is limited to 3 credit hours per semester.

Goldfarb Dual Enrollment Scholarships - These scholarships are available on a limited basis to students who are part of the free and reduced lunch program at their high school. If a student is awarded a Goldfarb scholarship tuition, texts and any supplementary materials will be covered for a single UMSL course. 

*There are no scholarships available for summer semesters. 

UMSL Bound Scholarship*

Once a student has completed at least one UMSL course as part of the Dual Enrollment Program, they are eligible to apply for the UMSL Bound Scholarship, which can be used at UMSL once the student is no longer in high school and attends UMSL full-time.

This scholarship is worth up to $12,000 over 4 years. High school students must apply for this scholarship before January 1st of their senior year. Up to twelve of these scholarships are awarded each year to students who have participated in select early college programs. 

To apply, the student must have applied to and been accepted to UMSL prior applying the scholarship deadline, January 1st of their senior year. To receive this scholarship, the student must be a full-time UMSL undergraduate student beginning fall semester of their freshman year. Learn more about the UMSL Bound Scholarship.  

This scholarship cannot be used to cover Dual Enrollment courses.
