Sammie Parsley is a first-generation college student from Fountain Run, Kentucky.  Prior to joining the DBA cohort at the University of Missouri – St Louis, Sammie earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Murray State University.  His research interests include research in taxation and accounting behavioral research.  He is currently employed at Carr, Riggs, and Ingram, LLC, where he serves as supervising senior accountant at the firm’s Bowling Green, Kentucky office.  Sammie’s professional credentials include Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and Certified Internal Auditor.
