Shannon Wheeler, CMRP, CPSM is a passionate supply chain professional who brings 10 years of healthcare and supply chain experience.  He’s specialized in partnering with GPO’s, suppliers, health systems, and clinicians across the US to drive value through cost savings, cost avoidance, process improvement, supply utilization management, and the optimization of data and automation.  For the last two years Shannon served Mercy as Executive Director of Strategic Customer Relations at ROi with a focus on the efficient implementation and onboarding of new members to the ROi contract portfolio. 

Prior to joining ROi, Shannon served in multiple roles at Intalere, a national GPO, where he was responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of solutions, as well as transformation of supply chain operations, which included all strategic solutions that reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and improved quality and regulatory compliance, as well as improved efficiencies across the entire supply chain spectrum.

Shannon is a Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), as well as a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky.  When he isn’t in a meeting or on a conference call he enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica, son Henry, and daughter Nora.
