Hello, I am Dr. Tamala Stallings and I bring over 20 years of dedicated experience in serving diverse communities throughout the St. Louis area. My work has focused on supporting individuals and groups in achieving their personal, professional, and educational aspirations.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Truman State University, a Master’s degree in Family Studies and Human Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kansas State University, a Master’s in Business Administration from Lindenwood University, and a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). These academic and professional experiences have deeply informed my commitment to fostering growth and success among those I serve.
Currently, I have the privilege of serving as an Academic Advisor in UMSL’s University Advising Center. When advising students, I adopt a holistic and proactive approach that prioritizes understanding the student’s academic and non-academic needs. By cultivating a strong sense of belonging, I aim to enhance student engagement, retention, and overall success. In my spare time, I love to travel and have new adventures with family and friends. I look forward to partnering with you to help you thrive and achieve your fullest potential!
