Toi serves as director of Development for Health Sciences, partnering with donors to advance the College of Optometry, the College of Nursing and the School of Social Work. With more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, including 19 years in philanthropy, she brings seasoned expertise to her role. Toi holds an MA in Nonprofit Management and an MA in American Culture Studies and is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP). Now in her second year at UMSL, she is motivated by a belief in the power of compassionate action. Guided by the words of Thoreau, "to have made even one person's life a little better, that is to succeed," she is committed to helping donors make meaningful impact.
