Energy Conservation

What can I do?

The following are a few examples of how everyone can contribute to this vital effort:
  • Coffee Makers/Pots - Estimated 300+ units in use on Campus - Considering 8 hours per day usage, 5 days per week will cost the Campus $28,000 per year.
  • Space Heaters - Estimated 300+ units in use on Campus - Considering 8 hours per day usage, 5 days per week will cost the Campus $90,000 per season.
  • Other suggestions would be to turn off lights in unoccupied rooms using stairs instead of elevators, using manual doors instead of ADA assist doors, etc.
