SharePoint is an ideal tool for this collaboration. With SharePoint, you can work together as a team managing documents, lists, workflows, news, and other content. 

In addition to building content and workflows, you can create web pages on a SharePoint site (or sites) and set up an intranet for a small business or a large corporation. SharePoint sites share information and allow you to distribute company-wide news, calendars, task lists, time off requests, contact information, phone lists, etc. SharePoint sites are also an effective tool for document management and making documents available to everyone in your organization.
