Louie is here to answer your questions.

Louie is available via a web bot installed on certain pages of the UMSL website and also regularly checks in with undergraduate UMSL students through text messages. Louie can answer your questions, point you to resources, listen to your perspective and connect you to human help when you need it. When you get a text, be sure to save Louie as a contact, so you can ask a question when you need to.

Louie's AI is used to understand a wide variety of student questions and respond in an appropriate, conversational way. It is a closed system that protects student data privacy and does not teach other AIs.

Ask Louie anything

Louie will send a "hello" text during the first week of classes.

When you get that first text, save Louie’s contact so you can ask questions anytime.
