Joel Epstein, Ph.D., received his degree in clinical-community psychology from the University of South Carolina. He has an interest in the intersection between technology and human behavior and has received multiple grants from the National Institute on Drug Abuse to create interactive multimedia interventions and smartphone applications to teach children about the science of addiction. At CASGSL, Dr. Epstein serves as the Research Director and is responsible for conducting program evaluation and therapy outcomes research. He also maintains the Center’s Electronic Health Record system.
