On-Campus Jobs

In order to apply for on-campus positions, candidates must be a current student attending UMSL.  A student does not need to be enrolled in a summer session to work on-campus during the summer.

Federal-Work Study Jobs

The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program is designed to help undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate financial need by providing meaningful employment that can help to offset educational expenses.  The Office of Student Financial Aid assists qualifying students find a part-time position on-campus or off-campus at an approved community service site.  Access to positions is granted upon award and completion of orientation.

Campus Life Jobs

Campus Life departments employee more than 250 students annually in more than 20 different student positions.  Campus Life includes the Millennium Student Center/JC Penney Conference Center, Student Involvement, New Student Programs, the Recreation and Wellness Center, or Residential Life and Housing.


The StudentPlus Internship Program is a paid on-campus internship/experiential learning program that allows students to gain experiential learning through various university departments, become more engaged with the campus community, and enhance their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
