Residual ACT is an on-campus testing program available to students who were unable to to test on an ACT National Testing date. ACT Residual Testing is stricly limited to students who have applied, have been admitted, or have enrolled at UMSL. Scores are non-transferrable and are reported only to UMSL Admissions. A $75 sitting fee is assessed and is due on the day of the test.

Students who wish to test out of lower-level undergraduate courses may "CLEP out" of the course by passing the appropriate CLEP test. Candidates must register for CLEP before scheduling a Testing Center appointment.
Students graduating with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Mathematics & Computer Science, and Physics are required to take the subject Major Field Test in the Testing Center.

An additional sitting fee of $15 is assessed on test day ($5 for single MoGEA Subtest).
