- The Committee wishes to recommend to the Senate approval for the following changes in degree requirements (see attached action items):
A. B.S. in Chemistry
B. Master of Education: Secondary Education with Emphasis in Adult Education
C. Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics
D. M.S. in Gerontology
E. M.P.P.A.
IV. The Committee wishes to inform the Senate that the following changes (housekeeping in nature) have been made to degree requirements:
A. Ph.D. in Education (Correction to clearly state that four emphasis areas are available to avoid the mistaken impression that a counseling psychology emphasis is available. Also, word change in emphasis better conveys the area of study.)
B. M.S. in Computer Science (To add more precise descriptions, including GRE requirement and deadlines.)
C. Graduate Studies (To put requirements for mathematics programs in the appropriate sections. To move section for clarity. To update entry requirements. To provide a more precise description of restricted status.)
D. Graduate Certificate in Gerontology (To make curriculum consistent with Guidelines of Association for Gerontology in Higher Education.)
