Tianyi is a PhD student in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Case Western Reserve University. Her research interests include recidivism, contact with the criminal legal system, education attainment, and labor earnings.
