Testing by Appointment Only
- The Campus Testing Center provides testing by appointment for students to take make-up class exams or to test under conditions where special accommodations are needed and authorized.* Students may also take campus level exams (e.g., Math Placement) outside the scheduled group sessions for a fee, as well as independent study course exams. It is a secure, alarmed area, staffed with only professional, non-student staff.

Click here for Student Directions Form (For faculty use; complete and give to your student.) The Campus Testing Center is not responsible for when students schedule appointments or responsible for enforcing any test deadline.
The campus requires placement and/or competency exams which include Math Placement Exams, ACT Residual, C-BASE, etc. Fees are charged for some of these tests. The campus provides a number of regularly scheduled group testing sessions for these tests. Students electing to take these tests at times other than those scheduled for group sessions can make an appointment to take them at the Campus Testing Center for an additional testing fee. This additional fee will be $5.00 for the Math Placement Tests, and Major Field; and $10.00 for ACT Residual and CBASE. Call the Campus Testing Center for fees of other tests. All exam and testing fees are to be paid at the Cashiers Office in room 285 of the Millennium Student Center. Receipts for payment of tests must be presented at the Testing Center at the time of testing.
All visitors to the UMSL campus should go to the Parking and Transportation Office and obtain a $1.00 one-day guest parking pass. Please see the Parking and Transportation Office web site for further details.
