>>> The next set of placement examinations is scheduled on August 11th (Biochemistry), 12th (Inorganic), 13th (Organic), 14th (Physical) and 15th (Analytical), 2008 between 5 PM and 7 PM in Benton Hall Room 451. Preparation for these examinations is strongly recommended. Calculator and molecular models may be used. Following the examinations, please meet with your advisor no later than Friday, August 15th to select courses for the Fall 2008 semester.
>>> The 2008 TA/RA Professional Development Conference will be held Monday and Tuesday, August 11-12, from 9-4 in the MSC. This year's conference will feature tracks on teaching with technology, active learning, classroom management, and professional development, as well as special tracks for RAs. Further information will be posted on the Graduate School home page as it becomes available.
