Dr. Steffen utilizes a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach in her work with clients and as a clinical supervisor. CBT is a problem-focused therapy that relies on scientific research and is typically short-term. Read here for more information on CBT and Guidelines for Choosing a Therapist.
