    Step One: Review financial aid options

    Learn about UMSL scholarships, the Gateway Scholarship program and submit your FAFSA application .

    Step Two: Confirm your enrollment

    Visit the Triton Portal to confirm your enrollment, meet student success team and view your custom checklist items.

    Step Three: Pre-advising and register for orientation

    Complete the pre-advising questionnaire, select your orientation event and register guests.

    Step Four: Schedule meeting with advisor

    Contact your academic department to get in touch with your advisor.

    Step Five: Housing Intent Form

    Complete the short form to let us if you plan on living on campus at UMSL.

The Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center is a landmark performance facility featuring dance, theatre, music, festivals, and other special events. Join the Opera Theatre Emsemble or University Singers on stage, or sit back and witness some the best performers and artists from around the world, including UMSL's own top-flight Jazz Orchestra.
Catch one of our 17 athletic teams as they compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, join an intramural sport like dodgeball, or run, lift, swim and climb at our state-of-the-art recreation and wellness center. If you like the outdoors, lounge in the quad or take a spin down the St. Vincent Greenway, a nearly 4-mile scenic path that winds from UMSL to the Delmar Loop.
Travel back in time through the railroad and waterway archives of the oldest library west of the Mississippi, the St. Louis Mercantile Library, or see microcomputers and analog artifacts at Grace's Place, UMSL's computer and information technology museum. At night, take in the stars at the Richard D. Schwartz Observatory or watch the galaxies in our new planetarium.
Enjoy world-class performances at the Muny, Fox and Stifel Theatres, hear music from around the globe at the Sheldon Concert Hall, or experience the greatest classical compositions played by the St. Louis Symphony. Visit some of the world's best art galleries at the Saint Louis Art Museum, Contemporary Art Museum and Pulizter Arts Foundation, all free of charge.
Hop on the Metro at UMSL's campus and head toward the Riverfront to visit the Arch and Lewis and Clark Museum, or sip your way through a tour of the Anheuser Busch Brewery. For the adventurous, float down the Mississippi on a riverboat, or take advantage of the River Ring, a hub of trails and greenways to bike, run and scoot.
Well over a thousand acres, Forest Park is one of the nation's premiere urban parks. Accessible from the Metro and sprawling with fields and trees, hills and small lakes, the park has something for everyone. Make a day of it and hit up St. Louis's Art Museum, History Museum, Science Center or Zoo, all located in the park.
