Brian Vandenberg
Dr. Brian Vandenberg, Professor of Psychology, received a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and a M.S. in Philosophy and Psychology from SUNY at Buffalo, and his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Rochester. He was also a Predoctoral Fellow at Educational Testing Service and a Post Doctoral Fellow at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. He is author of over 50 publications, including several in the American Psychologist and co-author of a chapter in the Handbook of Child Psychology. Brian has been invited to speak throughout the United States and Europe and is a reviewer for over 10 journals, as well as the National Science Foundation and Oxford University Press. He has been awarded the prestigious Ernest and Josephine Hilgard Award for best theoretical paper in hypnosis, and elected Fellow of the American Psychological Association for his influential contributions to the field of psychology.
