This training website is a work in progress. The first three modules of the full MTCI Curriculum are now posted and accessible to social service and health professionals after registration (click here). We anticipate having all six modules with the certification test available by August, 2012. Contact Dr. Meuser if you have any questions about this.
We also have an abbreviated series of training videos available that focus specifically on the ARMT tool. These can be viewed anytime and do not require formal registration as a trainee. Click on the ARMT link in the menu above and view videos as they appear on the separate pages about the tool.
In time, our hope is to develop this website as a training and sharing hub for professionals interested in making mobility-related assessment and counseling part of their practice with older adults. We believe that personal mobility and transportation are core instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) and something that should be assessed in all comprehensive geriatric encounters.
