Education: B.A. in Spanish, Western Washington University, M.A. in Contemporary Spanish Literature, Arizona State University 

Interests
Spanish literature, innovative uses of technology in Second Language Acquisition, travel, British comedy, and scuba diving.

Teaching
Andrew taught briefly at Saint Louis University prior to coming to University of Missouri - St. Louis to teach in January 2009. Courses that he teaches are 3000-level Peninsular literature and culture courses, 4000 level Peninsular literature courses, introductory Spanish and internet-hybrid courses. He organizes the weekly Spanish Table conversation group, and each summer takes a study abroad trip for UMSL students to the Dominican Republic.
